Y Graig is a bijou luxurious holiday cottage suitable for two people. It is situated On the very edge of the sea by the small harbour of the village of Cemaes Bay on the North Wales Coast of Anglesey, from which fishing trips can be taken.

The cottage is upside down to take advantage of the incredible view of the bay and the cliffs from the rear, even in poor weather it is possible to open the patio door and sit inside, and enjoy the sight and sound of the sea on the beach under the patio. Upstairs two old ships masts support the open beamed roof over the lounge/diner, with a coal fire and a galley kitchen (just out of sight on the left of the upstairs front picture) the galley has a full size cooker, fridge, and microwave.

There is a Doctors surgery, with four doctors and nurses, also a dental practise. Close by in the next village Amiwch is a sports centre with a swimming Pool, and squash courts. Cemaes Bay also has a Church of Wales, Chapels and a Catholic Church.

Opposite Y Graig are the cliffs of the National Trust, where a coastal path takes you past some of the finest scenery in Britain, and on to llanbadrig where you will find the 5th Century church of St Patrick. On a clear day you can see the Isle of Man and the Mountains of the Lake District.

Cemaes bay is surrounded by magnificent countryside, and there are many interesting places to visit Bird sanctuaries, working wind and water mills (and for the modern man a wind farm and a nuclear power station!) miles of sandy beaches forests, sea zoo, butterfly palace, historic castles, and with easy reach Snowdon National Park. Although there is a bus service, it is advisable to have a car if you want to explore at your leisure.
